Things to Do in Chicagoland this Month

• Annual Chicago River Dyeing: Come take part in one of the most iconic and beloved Chicago traditions - the dyeing of the Chicago River in honor of St. Patrick's Day! It will go down on March 15th at 10:00am, so be sure to get there early and secure a good view!
• 47th Annual South Side Irish Parade: Another Windy City St. Patrick's Day staple, this parade kicks off on March 16th at 12:00pm, starting at 103rd and Western Avenue in Chicago’s Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood. Click on the link for more info!

Commuter Appreciation Week

• Monday, March 10th - Paint and Pour: Whether you're a talented artist or just looking for some creative fun with friends, this event promises a great time! All art supplies will be provided, plus mocktails!
• Tuesday, March 11th - Sugar Cookie Decorating: Join us for sugar cookie decorating at SCW with cookies in all sorts of shapes and sizes, as well as a multitude of colorful frostings to use!
• Wednesday, March 12th - Book Nook & Exchange: Build a personalized 3D scene to fit between the books on your shelf! This will also be an opportunity to bring a book and exchange it for a new read to add to your collection! In collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students.
• Thursday, March 13th - Friendship Bracelet Making & Pop Culture Trivia: Come for the opportunity to craft beautiful friendship bracelets with provided materials, and stay for the pop culture trivia! Form teams and test your pop culture knowledge to win prizes!
• Friday, March 14th - Bouquet Bar & Breakfast: For our final event of the week, create your own gorgeous flower bouquet with a wide array of colorful flowers! Also, enjoy free breakfast bagels!

Spring Break Hours 

The Commuter Student Resource Center (CSRC) will be closed from March 24th-March 28th, 2025 for Spring Break! You can expect regular hours starting by Monday, March 31st, 2025.
