Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

1.) On Wednesdays from 11:30am - 2:30pm, our team has a table at SCE to share studying abroad to students who might not be aware of the opportunity.

2.) Faculty-Directed Study Abroad Expo

November 20th from 11:00am -2:00pm

Did you study abroad on a Faculty-Directed Program? Help promote the program so other students can also have an amazing experience abroad! Fill out our volunteer interest form and we will reach out if our team needs support!

The Study Abroad Symposium is a conference-style event where study abroad program alumni and current/former faculty directors will host sessions and presentations about the learning, intercultural experiences, growth, and impact that occurred during or as a result of participation in their respective programs. Join us to dive deep into the pressing global topics and intercultural development that make up the core of study abroad programs! Light refreshments will be provided.

We know you have stories to share about your time abroad!

Share them with your fellow Flames by writing for One World Journal, a UIC student organization.

Study Abroad Graduation Stoles are back!

Are you graduating this Fall 2025 semester? Purchase one of our unique stoles to celebrate your status as a study abroad alum and proudly represent your journey at commencement. 

All proceeds will be added to study abroad scholarships for future travelers!
