A Night at the Museum

Hey UIC students! We're excited that you've RSVP’d for A Night at the Museum for UIC! Enjoy an exclusive UIC lounge, engaging student art talks, and a fun scavenger hunt throughout the galleries.

🔑 Check-In Details

If You Are Taking the Shuttle

• Shuttle wristband check-in will be available at Student Center East (SCE) from 4:30 PM–7:00 PM.

• You must check in at SCE before boarding a shuttle.

• Once you arrive at the Art Institute, you will still need to collect your event ticket at the UIC check-in table inside the museum.

If You Are Going Directly to the Art Institute

• Skip SCE and check in at the UIC table inside the Modern Wing entrance.

• You will receive your event ticket upon arrival.

Entry Requirements

✔ Bring your UIC i-card for check-in.
✔ Guests must check in with their UIC student host. No unaccompanied guests will be admitted.

🚌 Shuttle Information

• Shuttles TO the museum: 4:30 PM–7:00 PM
  (You must check in at SCE before boarding.)

• Shuttles FROM the museum: until 8:15 PM
  Pick-up is at the Modern Wing entrance.

Shuttles are limited and wait times may occur. Public transit and rideshare services are encouraged!

🎨 Event Schedule

UIC Lounge (5:00–7:45 PM)

Location: Nichols Trustees Suite
(Enter through the Modern Wing coat check)

• Light refreshments

• Live harpist

Scavenger Hunt (5:00–7:30 PM)

Pick up your scavenger hunt card at a Welcome Table, follow clues across the galleries, and return your completed card by 7:30 PM. Please note: Only current UIC students are eligible to win scavenger hunt prizes.
🏆 Winners announced at 7:45 PM in the UIC Lounge.

🧥 Coat Check

Free coat check is available near the Modern Wing entrance.

As a reminder, all UIC students are expected to adhere to the UIC Student Code of Conduct during the event.
