The mission of Adoptee Student Union (ASU) is to promote adoptee social, cultural, academic, and charitable services to the University of Illinois and surrounding Chicago communities. We plan to establish inclusive programs and organizations for the growth and development of adoptees of all cultures. ASU shall abide by its constitution and bylaws.

Members of the Adoptee Student Union (ASU) have a safe and non-judgmental environment for them as adoptees to come to terms with their experiences. They will benefit from ASU, as adoptees will be supported as the club aims to spread awareness that each individual's adaptation to adoption is complex, ambivalent and individually experienced.

Our mission is to facilitate a collaborative and communal space for students who are pursuing/interested in the multiple disciplines of behavioral health (including but not limited to: psychology, sociology, neuroscience, physiology/kinesiology, pharmacology, and etc.). We want to encourage members to explore ways they can apply disciplines of behavioral health and science to their respective fields of study and/or career paths like in medicine, neurology, clinical rehabilitation, dentistry, nutrition, and etc.

Delta Epsilon Mu, LLC (DEM) was founded in 1996 at Binghamton University in New York. As a professional organization, DEM integrates professional aspirations, specifically in the health-related fields, social camaraderie, and educational enrichment of its members and community. The brothers and sisters of Delta Epsilon Mu work year-long on various philanthropic projects, professional development, and social bond-building activities to foster what we fondly term our DEM Family.
