Commuter Dash Spring 2026

New to UIC this Spring? Then join the Commuter Dash! The Commuter Dash is a hybrid scavenger hunt for new commuting students. Complete tasks, attend events, and explore UIC! Earn points to win and meet other off-campus students. Commuter Dash begins on January 12th and goes until January 16th during Weeks of Welcome!

Instructions to Join the Commuter Dash for Spring 2026:
1.) Download the Scavify App: Begin by downloading the Scavify app from either the Google Play Store or the App Store.
2.) Sign Up: Create an account within the Scavify app using your full name and your UIC email address.
3.) Find the Hunt: After signing up, you will search for "Commuter Dash Spring 2026".
4.) Join the Hunt: Once you find the hunt, you can join and start participating in the Commuter Dash.

Winners of the hunt will be contacted via email by Monday, January 19th! We have grand prizes for our top 3 winners.

Here are a few things to note as you get started:
-You can finish up in a few days or take your time and go all the way to the end time!
-You can play with a friend, but there is no "team" feature, so winners will be individuals, not teams.
-New and returning students are welcome to play, but to win a prize, you must not have played before or be a new student.
-Have fun! Meet new people! Learn about new resources on campus! Go commuters!
