Commuter + Transfer Appreciation Week

Join us for a Special Transfer Cart that will be just for transfer students! Transfers will receive a toolkit with several gifts and can take some time to de-stress, color, enjoy the quad with others, and take photo ops!

RSVPs are held until 1 hour after the event starts. If you have not checked in by 12:00 PM, your spot will be given to a student on the waiting list.

Get into the Halloween spirit with Boo-tiful Bakes & Cards! Join us at Student Center West for a fun crafting event where you can design your own spooky Halloween cards, from classic designs to simple 3D pop-up creations. We will also have goodie bags and cookies available just for you! Whether you’re feeling cute, creepy, or somewhere in between, come get creative, make something fun, and enjoy delicious desserts to keep you energized while you craft!

Are you ready for spooky fun time at Squish & Scream!? Come make your own DIY slime, get creative with colors and textures, and enjoy some delicious food while you hang out and have fun. Whether you’re a slime expert or making it for the first time, come squish, stretch, mix, and make some spooky slime! 🎃

The 2nd Annual Frights & Lights Open Mic is back and bigger than ever! Get ready for an afternoon packed with music, laughs, karaoke, performances, food, and Halloween fun! In collaboration with UICRadio, we’re bringing commuters and transfer students together for an unforgettable experience where you can take the mic, show off your talent, sing your favorite songs, or vibe with the crowd. And of course, we’re having delicious food, snacks, refreshing drinks, and special raffle prizes you won’t want to miss! 🕸️
