Tianguis | "Flea Market"

We are the Latinx Heritage Month Committee at the University of Illinois Chicago. Each year, we organize a series of events that highlight key issues, celebrate achievements, and uplift the Latinx community.

This year’s theme, Semillas del Futuro (Seeds of the Future), focuses on youth, education, and leadership within the Latinx community. As part of our celebration, we will host a Tianguis—a traditional Latinx open-air market—on Wednesday, September 24th, from 11 AM to 3 PM in Student Center East -- East Terrace (2nd floor) and the Concourse (first floor near main entrance).

We are currently seeking vendors to table and sell their art, crafts, artesanías, and more—and one of our committee members thought you’d be a fantastic fit for our event!

If you’re available and interested in selling at our Tianguis, please fill out the form linked below with your information. There is a vendor fee of $40, while UIC students will pay a reduced fee of $20. One table per vendor will be provided.
