Since UIC does not have an aerospace program but have faculties and students that received various recognition from the industry, we aim to maintain the presence and interest of aerospace within UIC.

The mission statement of the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative Student Club at UIC
shall be to promote awareness for lung cancer screening for individuals at high-risk of developing lung cancer in the community through educational efforts, community outreach, and health literacy engagement. Activities may include advocating for Congress members to support a lung cancer bill, reforming lung cancer screening curriculum at local medical schools, presenting to various stakeholders to build awareness, and working with local health departments to bring actionable change to the local communities.

The Disability and Human Development Student Association Graduate Chapter advocates for students across campus through engaging with other student associations, departments, and the Graduate Student Council (GSC). Although not its primary function, the Disability and Human Development Student Association Graduate Chapter, on occasion can engage with noncampus
entities as required. The Disability and Human Development Student Association Graduate Chapter enhances the DHD student experience through academic and professional development via workshops, lectures, and other resources.
