College Leadership Summit: Make Your Voice Count

The College Leadership Summit is a free, one-day summit to engage college students in critical reflection on the topics of social justice, human rights, and inclusion. The keynote speaker is Jahmal Cole from My Block My Hood My City.

Students will focus on community building by participating in a variety of breakout sessions throughout the day, reflecting on their responsibility as citizens, and discussing how they can create a positive environment in their communities. Through inspirational keynote speakers and breakout sessions, students will leave with tools to be a leader and an advocate for social justice issues that are important to them.

Student Leadership and Civic Engagement is sponsoring a shuttle bus to take those who sign up from UIC SCE to the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center in Skokie. The shuttle will leave SCE at 8:10am.
