Join the UIC University Library's Undergraduate Engagement Program (UEP), the UIC Native American Support Program (NASP), and the Newberry Library for Terry's Scaries: A Night of Indigenous Horror Stories. 

Hosted by author and artist Jim Terry, the evening will include the telling of spooky stories, the showing of a new short horror film (produced by Terry), and will feature refreshments catered by Indigenous chef, Quentin Two-Rivers Broeffle. 

This is an 18+ event. Please note that there is a content warning for gore, violence, and strong language in the film.

UIC students may access free transportation to the Newberry by the UIC Shuttle Service. The bus will arrive outside the West Entrance of the Richard J. Daley Library (801 S Morgan St) around 4:15 p.m., will depart from UIC at 4:30 p.m., and will return back to campus at 8:15 p.m. Students should bring their i-Cards as identification may be required.
