Our objectives for these sessions are to familiarize students with morning rounds, evidence-based medicine in real practice, and to provide students with opportunities to develop their presentation skills. The format of the sessions has one student giving a SOAP case presentation. Cases are provided by faculty members or collected from students’ IPPE/APPE rotations. After the presentation, the faculty member leads the discussion around the case providing insights such as current guideline applications, disease management, patient care improvement, etc.
