Fall 2025 DCC Open House

We're hosting an Open House and we'd love to connect with you! Come meet our staff, learn what we’re up to this semester and how to get involved, and enjoy some food!

⭐ Fall 2025 DCC Open House
📅 Monday, Sept 15 from 12-2PM CT
📍 BSB 2nd floor patio, 231, 235 & on Zoom

During the first portion, we’ll be mingling with some pizza and cookies on the 2nd floor outdoor patio of the Behavioral Sciences Building– you’re also welcome to venture inside and check out our Lounge spaces! (We’ll have gluten free, vegan, and GF+V options.)

The second half of the Open House will be hybrid, and we’ll hear from our collaborators and share some highlights for the coming semester, including ways you can get involved with our work.

Schedule:
12pm: mingling & eating on 2nd floor patio of BSB (outside)
1pm: info about the DCC & collaborators! (zoom option & BSB 231, 235)

Covid safety: UIC does not require masking, but we are still masking indoors as an accessibility measure for chronically ill / immunocompromised folks and those living interdependently with them. Please wear a mask in our spaces! We’ll have extras on hand. Zoom is another Covid-cautious option.

Access info: Our Center is on the 2nd floor and physically accessible via elevator. The patio can be accessed via lift and has ramps connecting its various levels. We’ll have ASL interpreters available. For the hybrid portion, we will have CART captions projected into the space with the Zoom.
