The Archery Tag Tournament is a FREE single-day event, that will be hosted on Thursday, April 16 starting at approximately 5:00 PM (actual time may vary based on total participants; updates will be emailed the day of the tournament). All tournaments are gender neutral. If you can play, you can play!
The tournament will take place at the Student Recreation Facility at 737 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL 60607. The registration deadline for the Archery Tag Tournament is Wednesday, April 15 at 11:59 PM.
4:30 PM – 5:15 PM
Join this indoor cycling class and ride to the rhythm! This high energy cardio workout is designed to improve endurance, strength. You will climb hills, sprint and tackle intervals all set to motivating music that keeps you pedaling.
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tired of the same concrete scenery? Let's trade the skyline for a treeline! Join us for a classic autumn adventure on a scenic hiking trip that's just a Metra ride away. No car? No problem! We’ve got the route planned, so you just need to bring your sense of adventure.
We'll hop on the Metra together, get off in a storybook trail town, and spend the day exploring beautiful, well-marked trails. It’s the perfect way to unplug, get some fresh air, and see a new side of the region without the hassle.

Join us for a Ropes & Crafts Workshop where climbing meets creativity! Learn how to upcycle old climbing ropes into stylish bracelets, keychains, and more while connecting with fellow climbers. Whether you're a crafting pro or a first-timer, this hands-on session is the perfect way to give retired ropes new life.

Join us this Earth Day for Sustain to Summit, a one-of-a-kind event that blends sustainability, fitness, and community!

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Plogging
Take part in a plogging adventure! Help keep our campus and surrounding community clean as we jog (or walk) while picking up litter. This Swedish-inspired activity combines fitness and environmental action, making a tangible impact on our local community. (The term “plogging” comes from the Swedish words plocka upp—to pick up—and jogga—to jog.) Supplies such as gloves and bags will be provided.
4:30 PM – 6:30 PM Information Tabling
Explore our interactive tabling area, featuring UIC Sustainability and other organizations committed to eco-friendly practices. Learn about recycling, reducing waste, and making everyday choices that benefit the planet.
5:30 PM Climbing Competition
Test your skills and compete with fellow climbers in our Earth Day-themed climbing competition. Push your limits and “summit” for sustainability!

The Climbing Wall Tournament is a FREE single-day event that will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at approximately 5:00 PM (actual time may vary based on total participants; update will be emailed the day of the tournament). All tournaments are gender neutral. If you can play, you can play!
The tournament will take place at the Student Recreation Facility - SRF (737 S. Halsted St.). The registration deadline for the Climbing Wall Tournament is Tuesday, April 21 at 11:59 PM.
